A Special Service In The Life Of Life House

Last Monday night the Life House family observed their first Lord’s Supper together.  The service was very different from any I had ever held as a pastor.  Since we are a mission congregation, and we are dealing with so many new believers, it’s important to use every moment possible to teach the Word and the truth of it.  God enabled us to view the Lord’s Supper through “different eyes”.  I tried to teach the church family about the elements, their importance and the reason for “unleavened bread and unfermented fruit of the vine”.  Then we looked at Isaiah 53 and then moved right into the Lord’s Supper.  I’ve never been in a more reverent, Spirit filled service in my life. God was all over the house.  The people worshiped in one accord and a spirit of unity was so evident.  God showed up in such a sweet way.  So many of our people commented about the service and how special it was.  Thank God for the blood!  Thank You Jesus for your love!  Pastor James
