Family – it’s good to be together…

Last night there was nothing special going on…except for the first time in a long time our family was all together under one roof – OURS!  It was great to have Josh & Kimberly, Clint and Tami home with “Mama, me and the four dogs”.   Clint and Tami even brought our “grand-dogs” too – Bella & Bubba.  With everyone that makes 12~!!!!    We didn’t “do” anything special – just hang out. We looked at some pictures on facebook of people who were in our lives through the years…had some great laughs and most of all just spent time together.  In all of life there are few things that are really that important but one of them is being with those you love.  While jobs, distance and etc make it next to impossible to spend much time with each other on a regular basis…it’s great when you get the chance to.  Cindy and me are very blessed. We are blessed with jobs, nice house, good friends, good dogs, clothes on our backs, food to eat, great church family and ministry and blessed to have great sons and daughters in laws.  We may not be rich in this worlds goods (and that’s OK too), we are abundantly blessed in so many other ways.  Family…it’s good to be together. Stop and thank God for yours…and give them a hug and an “I love you” real soon.  I’m glad that we will all be together for “now” and because of Jesus – eternity.   Pastor James

And isn’t it wonderful to know that you will all eventually be in Heaven together. That’s the greatest comfort of all to me, that when this life is over, it’s NOT over. We will get to visit in Heaven too. The kids are all saved, the older grand kids are saved, and I just pray that each one of the younger ones comes to know Jesus, or that the Lord raptures us before they are accountable. Family is such a sweet blessing. So glad you got to visit with everyone. We’ve never met Clint. We look forward to that pleasure. Our whole gang is here this weekend, but away right now visiting the other Grandmother in NB. I’ve had one of the grand daughters all week. I’m relishing the silence right now and taking advantage of it for catching up on Bible study, posting on the praise team blog, etc. God bless you.
