Mega Church – Mega Heart!

Cindy and I had the blessing yesterday of representing Life House Church and Ministries at a “MEGA-CHURCH” in Patterson, AR.  I know when the term “mega-church” is used we automatically think of a huge building, large parking lots, masses of people and shuttle busses BUT this church had NONE of that. This church is a mega church because of their mega heart!  They LOVE the Lord with all of their heart. They love God’s Word. They love lost souls and they love those who labor for the Lord.  They showered us with many blessings we won’t soon forget!  From a great place to sleep, attentive and prayerful worship, praying with us and for us, giving a generous love offering to us for Life House Church and Ministries and even the great southern cooking – it was all awesome!  (SIDE NOTE: They really have some great southern cooks in this church – even one “ENGLISH COOK” – who isn’t far from being a good “southern girl” herself! LOL.  I could never be their pastor or I might weigh 500 lbs in no time!)

Cindy and I praise the Lord for the blessing of being able to be with Pleasant Grove Baptist Church & Pastor Kenneth Dewitt. We thank the Lord for safe travel, a great time of worship and new friends in the work of building God’s kingdom. Pray for this great church and pray that other churches would have the heart this MEGA CHURCH has!  We look forward to August as some from this church might be coming to help us with our first Vacation Bible School! Thanks again PG Church and thanks to all the churches who have allowed us to come share the work. Keep praying for the work and know that every soul saved, every life changed and any way this community is impacted for good is because you loved, cared and gave!  Pastor James

I know you must get tired of me being the only one to leave comments. Hopefully, this will catch on. I have a praise for this past Sunday. I had a terrible spasm in the muscle that goes from my shoulder up into my neck, partly due to the lack of motion in my neck from the missing disk, but also could have been part of the Fibromyalgia flare up I’ve been experiencing. Nonetheless, I was somewhat depressed as well. While it is not completely gone. I feel so much better after having the visiting preacher and some others lay hands on me. The spasm does seem to be subsiding and it has been there for some time now only getting worse. I simply asked that the pain be relieved so that I could be effective in Christ’s service. I wasn’t sure if I would be able to make the Back Yard Bible Bash tonight, but I am now planning to attend. Thank you Josh Campbell and thanks also to the others who were compelled to allow the Holy Spirit to work through them on my behalf. It was such a blessing to have a church family pray over me. I’m so glad that the visit with PG Church was fruitful. May the Lord bless them for allowing the Lord to give them sight beyond their walls. What a blessing that they gave you and Cindy such a wonderful welcome. Another thing I give praise for was that a visitor, a woman I went to school from first grade to 12th, visited Sunday. It was so nice to see her. Her daughter sang and it was very nice. Oh, thank the Lord for the young man playing the piano. He seems to have some real talent freeing me up to sing again. My prayer is that we are blessed with the funds or the equipment to begin a “Worship Team.” That is where my heart is. It had been so long since I really sang, that Sunday, I wasn’t quite sure what key to sing in, but it was a blessing to make a joyful noise unto the Lord. If you are out there on the fence, wondering where you might be of service and be accepted, give Life House a try. What a loving group of people!!!! The miracles we have seen over such a short period of time just blow my mind. Praise the Lord!!!!!! I’m so glad that Bro. James and Cindy stepped out on faith to continue this good work. And, I’m really glad that the Lord moved us to where we should be to help in this ministry. Agape love, love that God has for his children, how sweet!!!!! I don’t know anyone but Jesus who would die for me. Because of that the He stands in the gap and we can have a relationship with God. God is merciful, loving and kind. He is patient and We can call Him Abba, very simply translated, Daddy. Some may not have a good relationship with their earthly Daddy, but this our Abba Daddy is always there for you and always waiting for you to lift your hands to him as if to say, “here I am, your little child, take me and hold me in your loving arms.” Now I’m preaching, but if you run across this website and find this, please accept Jesus as your savior and you too can call God Abba. He doesn’t see our color, our financial status, our social status, etc. He sees our hearts. He doesn’t want us to wait until we are perfect to accept him. He knows we are not perfect. If you have never prayed, the first prayer He wants to here is that you have accepted His Son, Jesus, who made it possible by dying a cruel death on a cross, so that your sins can be forgiven. He didn’t just die though, He rose again to prove He was the Messiah and he is now at the right hand of the Father. And, back to the point, PG Church showed this Agape love to Bro. James and Cindy. While we missed you guys in church Sunday, I know the Lord is working through the seed you two planted.
