Hey, don't forget he has a helper. LOL!!!

It is exciting to have the web site so soon in the young life of Life House.

Technology is good, but I'm still thankful for the simple things in life. It seems that lately I feel that computers have made life a business and it can be very frustrating and time consuming in some very unfavorable ways, like paying bills and keeping up with the finances or lack thereof. But, praise the Lord for always providing.

There is one thing that I've noticed in Wednesday night group. I have lots of thoughts, but I clam up. Pray that I'm able to express myself. As you can see, I'm better at writing down what I think or feel.

After reading James over, I don't know how many times, I did get something from it this time that I haven't before. It was the answer to what I had asked the previous Wednesday about how do the churches come up with their view of the body of Christ. I've heard from the pulpit the statement about the body of Christ referring to just the members within the walls. I think it is so much more than that, and if it is just within the walls, that is exclusive and uncooperative with the other churches. I think that the churches should all work together as the body of Christ. When reading James, I realize that our prejudices and our preferences have caused this division among the churches. I see Life House as a body part that compliments the other churches. I know we may meet in the building, but we don't have the attitude that we "ARE" the body of Christ without the help and compliment of other churches, and the desire to help and compliment other churches. It is prejudice, preference, and showing partiality to certain people, that has caused a great division in the body of Christ, resulting in cults, distorted beliefs, etc. Does this make sense and am I wrong? Has this been the reason for "black" church, "white" church, Baptist, Assembly of God, Church of Christ, etc., preference, prejudice, and partiality? Oh that we might all be color blind and only abide by the Word of God without adding to or taking away!!! Oh that we might not be competitive with the church next door, but pray for her and work together with her!!! Wouldn't we be better body parts and of more use to the Lord?

I've found the 5 chapters of James very humbling and thought provoking. I may be totally wrong, but those are my thoughts at this point. Feel free to correct me, if I am.

Blessings for today and every day, Kat
